The iPad Mission
At Quosal, we are striving to make it easy to do a Quote not just from a PC, but from other devices as well. The iPad is natural tool to take wherever you go. We wanted to provide a great subset of Quosal on this device. The iPad UI allows us to provide a rich experience for creating quotes. Having a native application also allows us to access multiple integration points in the cloud simultaneously. The iPad allows you to manage a sophisticated quote or proposal document, generate a rich, professional document that makes a great first impression on your customer, and makes it easy for your customers to say yes with Order Porter.

Executive Summary Reporting
- Leader Snapshot – Get a snapshot of the current leaders for Quotes Delivered (Both amount and quantity), the biggest win, the biggest visits, and the biggest new quote.
- Most Active – Find out which order porter pages are being viewed the most by your customers for a given time slice.
- Latest Approvals – Find out which of your quotes have been approved.
- Latest Visits – View which of your order porter pages have been viewed most recently.
- Quote Reps – This will give you a listing of all of your sales reps activity for a given time slice. It can even do a comparison of quotes to opportunities to let you know that your reps have been updating the opportunity system, and also to let you know that a customer may have changed their Order Porter options against what was quoted in the original opportunity.
- Modify Existing Order Porters – You can modify existing quotes that are on Order Porter, as long as they are not approved and belong to you.
- Create from Template – You can create quotes from Quosal templates. You can use Quosal to set up all of the rules and advanced features that we have on a quote, and the iPad application can consume them.<.LI>
- Customer Searching – You can search your customers from your CRM system, and attach them to your quote in the iPad application.
- Workspace Management – You can manage the Tabs / Sections that you have on your quote from the Workspace, just as you can in Quosal. This includes adding and removing both Tabs and Items that are on a quote.
- Product Sourcing – You can add products on the fly to your quote. You can also search your CRM for products, and if you have Quosal’s product server, that can be a source as well. A subset of Etilize premier is also available for the iPad application. This will allow you to do a keyword search against Etilize, and return pricing from 4 of the major distributors real time pricing feeds.
- Quote Settings – You can change the major things you need on a Quote, such as Tax Codes, the Primary Rep, the name, and add additional quote notes.
- Opportunity – We support opportunity management within Quosal. Whenever you create a quote, you can add a new opportunity inside of your CRM system. We also have the ability to attach to existing opportunities that might already be in your CRM system.
- Publishing – Quosal’s PDF engine has been made available to allow you to fully produce that fantastic, rich document that helps make an awesome impression on your customer directly from the iPad. This is attached to your Order Porter page, allowing for immediate delivery to your Customer and giving them an easy way to say yes. Your order porter page can be fully branded and customized from Quosal, and the iPad application knows exactly how to consume it.
- Advanced Scripting – We have provided the ability to script key events, just like you would in the Quosal application, inside the iPad. The main 2 events are when you attach to an opportunity, and when you publish either to a PDF or Order Porter. Scripts have to be signed by Quosal to use.
